They are to be Honored and Memorialized

Memorial DaySpringtime is a lovely time of the year. The air is filled with the smells of blossoms and fresh cut grass. The comfortable temperatures entice and draw us to enjoy the outdoors. This weekend will be no different in those ways but you will have the added benefit of seeing many stars and stripes flapping in the breeze. Your family may take part in a parade or host a family picnic to recognize a special group of loved ones that you wish to remember. Regardless of the activities you participate in this weekend; I hope we all set aside time to celebrate this most righteous of holidays. For it is as a united Country that we should set aside our differences to come together as a whole to honor and memorialize those brave men and women who gave their all so that each of us can continued to live in freedom, liberty, and peace. Personal & Professional Growth

Personal GrowthA good friend and I reminisced yesterday about a gentleman that changed our lives through one of his most powerful beliefs. As I now try to positively impact the lives of others, Charlie “Tremendous” Jones’ inspired character caused me to adapt that saying to include a third component; high moral and ethical character, to the statement.

I am positive he will give me a big hug when we meet again in Heaven. “What can I say Charlie, I love the Wisdom of Three!”

If this is my last post, I want all to know there was only one purpose for all that I have written; to have made a positive difference in the lives of others.

Un-Common Sense

They decided to file suit against one of the States because the State legislature passed a law contradicting a Federal mandate that addressed who should be allowed to use which restroom in a public place.  Now, as much as I travel and use public restrooms, I am amazed that I didn’t know that this was such a pressing matter.  Since public restrooms have existed for some time and from the beginning we have used the only two biological sexes known to the human species in order to determine which room we should use for our most private of needs; I thought that system was working rather well.  Then again, “What were our ancestors thinking?”  Continue reading “Un-Common Sense”

The Mother Cell

Mother'sLoveThe human species is an ever-changing creature. Created as a physical, mental and spiritual being; we live each day as a somewhat new entity.  Each day we change in multitude of ways; most of them occurring without us even noticing they are happening. In addition to the voluntary changes we make in our lives; our body goes through involuntary changes internally at a chemical and cellular level, externally our hair falls out and what stays grows longer.  On a mental level; our brain functions work and change around the clock, never resting.  On the spiritual side of the house; from moment to moment our faith and beliefs can change as we face challenging situations or joyful moments of wonder. Whether we are asleep or awake, it makes no difference; we are changing.  Continue reading “The Mother Cell”
