Happy Life Day!

As a Modern Solutionary I enjoy solving problems. That is what I do!

first-life-day-party-cake-eating-by-cute-baby-boyI have a great solution that would likely put an end to the abortion battle without having to change the abortion law of the land.  Instead of fighting amongst one another over whose rights are more important, let’s celebrate the truth that no one can deny; the date our life truly began.  I propose that we, as a nation, change the way we define an individual’s date of existence, our traditional birthday.  We should pass a law (all politicians love to pass new laws) that establishes a more progressive age tracking system; one based on the individual’s start of life not when they are removed from their mother.

With the vast medical advancements made in prenatal medicine; it is time to change with the times. Who could oppose such a modern program?

Instead of celebrating an annual birth day to keep track of our age; each person will celebrate their “Life Day”.  This date will be the date a doctor ascertains to be at least thirty days after the date of conception.  This date is based on scientific evidence that our heart begins to beat anywhere between eighteen to twenty four days from conception. If any rational person came across any life form with a beating heart they would surely consider it to be a living creature.  This is the true start date of any species’ existence.  Our traditional birth day is nothing more than our revelation date to the world and our families.

“Now think, what difference would this change make?”

Well, if our Life Day was medically established and a Life Certificate issued at that time then any disruption to that life would result in a required Death Certificate.  The doctor or coroner would be mandated to list on the death certificate the reason of death; making both certificates a permanent record of the concurrent events.  By requiring the medical professionals to explain this process to an expected mother at the detection of a heart beat would drive home the facts as they truly exist.  We would have legal recording of the documentation of the new life and in the case of an abortion; the death.

Imagine if this would have been the process since the passing of Roe v Wade and the States would have had to list all of the abortion deaths in their statistical reports.  It is estimated that over fifty eight million “legal” abortions have been performed since the law passed; each without the requirement of a death certificate.  For your knowledge, currently a death certificate is only issued for non aborted fetus’ older than twenty weeks.  Aborted fetus’, regardless of age, are not part of any permanent vital statistic record in the United States.

If a child is issued a life certificate that would mean that the parents would have ability to cover the child with life insurance and health insurance prior to the twentieth week of gestation.  From what I know about insurance, using the “self-inflicted exemption clause”, neither health nor life insurance would be required to pay the claim.  This would also solve the dispute as to whether the Affordable Care Act should pay for an abortion with tax dollars.  By definition, it would not.  Currently there are some restrictions as to the level of coverage for health insurance and life insurance on a non aborted child cannot start before the twentieth week of gestation.

Think about how the discussions would change about sex between consenting adults.  With the possibility that within forty five to sixty days of their sexual union a life certificate might be required to be issued resulting in the couple having to declare their parenthood on the document.  With the additional ramifications of that legal record as well as that of a death certificate in the event that one or both of the couple desire an abortion; it could offer cause for further consideration as to if the risks out ways the pleasure.  What if sometime in the future, these individuals had other children and those children decide to do a public search of possible siblings. The life dates, dates of death, and cause of death would be revealed. Would this possibility help people make better choices before it goes that far?  I would hope so.

Wouldn’t you like to see us to start celebrating the Life Day of our children?

What do you think?

If this is my last post, I want all to know there was only one purpose for all that I have written; to have made a positive difference in the lives of others.

The Voluntarily Lazy

I enjoy reading what other people think; especially when they have a different perspective than I have.  As a long-time published author, I understand the importance of finding the right words to insure that your readers fully comprehends the message you are sending them.  The written word is the one form of communication where the author can be allowed the luxury of lengthy and adequate consideration so as to ponder their precise message; making edits as needed to capture their exact thoughts.  When allowed to have these thoughts published without outside edits or changes the readers gets a glimpse into the mind of the author. Our Visions Change Our World

sun-rise-mountain_21191815This is a story about a young man who grew up in a verdant valley surrounded by foothills and a beautiful mountain to the east.  Every morning he would awaken before the sunrise so that he could view the unique majesty of the various images that the sun’s rays would create as they shot past the magnificent peak. He was amazed by the multitudes of colors and the contrasts of the rays depending on the amount of clouds or the seasons of the year. Continue reading “Our Visions Change Our World”

The Three Positions of Transit

“Triangular in concept, a law you must know; Linear in sight, on your mark, get set, Go!  What am I?”

Signal LightIf you said a traffic light you are correct.  Just like riddles, sometimes life can be confusing and vague.  That is why I believe our Maker gave us so many natural laws tied to the Wisdom of Three; we need simple guides to make our complex lives easier to navigate through.  These laws are undeniable, unchangeable, and unquestionable anywhere in the world.

So why focus on the traffic light?

In 1920, a police officer in Detroit, Michigan developed the three color lights we use today.  In an effort to reduce the ever increasing risks of accidents presented by the growing number of vehicles on the roads, he used the simple power behind the Wisdom of Three.  This Solutionary understood the problem and determined that there were only three positions needing to be controlled; the driver had to know when to stop the car, be warned in advance when to stop, and when it would be safe to go again.

Brilliant!  I wonder if Officer William Potts knew the rest of the story.  You see, not only is his solution applicable to the traffic problems of intersections, its meaning goes much deeper and can help to direct the traffic of our personal lives too.

The lights positions and colors are arranged uniformly so that wherever you may be you will be familiar with the patterns. The first light is the red one.  This position holds substantial meaning in the universe.  The number one means singular.  When applied to the driver of a vehicle it means you or self.  When I am driving and I see a red light I know that “I” must stop.  Red is the uniformed color for the word stop.  An interesting thing that Officer Potts probably did not know was that selfishness is the single offense that we have to stop in order to avoid all other offenses.  It we could ever “stop” our selfish flaws we would break no laws, have no disobedience, or civil unrest.  This is why; in the Wisdom of Three, selfishness is the number one problem that Solutionaries must be aware of.

The second position is the amber light or caution.  The number two means to share; picture two people holding hands.  In this position we must be ready to do our part to protect each other from an accident.  The number two also represents the potential for loss so caution must be taken.

Position number three is the green or go light. The most powerful number in the universe, the third position means power…the power to move.  It also means community.  When the light turns green, all the cars begin to move as one; as a community.  The color green represents a new start or growth.  We cannot have a new start if we do not move forward.

Remember the riddle at the start of this article; triangular in concept?  Picture a vertical traffic light in your mind.  Now, picture one light at the first position, two lights side by side in the second and three lights in the third position.  Do you see the perfect triangle?  The triangle is the strongest structure in the universe and the basis of the Wisdom of Three.

the-wisdom-of-three-the-law-of-the-flowOnce again, the natural laws created through the power of the Wisdom of Three helps us to solve our problems.  Next time you see a traffic light, I hope you think differently and reflect on the Wisdom of Three in your life.

If this is my last post, I want all to know there was only one purpose for all that I have written; to have made a positive difference in the lives of others.

Faith in the Leadership; Professing is not Enough

solutionWhen you leader others, you want them; no you need them to have faith in your thoughts, words, and deeds. If they do not have that faith, they will falter when things get tough, or worst, they will seek out another leader whom they perceive will better fit their needs. For the leaders of companies, organizations, or even families this lack of retention can be a very big problem. Continue reading “Faith in the Leadership; Professing is not Enough”
