The First Gift We Give To Our Child

The first gift we give to our children is life itself; given through a Sacred Partnership. One of the most extraordinary characteristics of this remarkable gift is that it is not fashioned by human hands alone. The moment of conception is a divinely orchestrated event, a harmonious joining of three forces, God, the mother, and the father, each playing a distinct yet interconnected role in shaping a new life.

God: The Eternal Giver of the Soul

Human life does not merely begin with the scientific and biological formation of organisms; it is breathed into existence by God Himself. The soul, unique and eternal, is entrusted to the parents by our Creator, carrying divine purpose from the first moment of existence. Unlike the physical body, which changes and ages, the soul remains untouched by time, infused with inherent worth, a divine destiny, and spiritual identity. It is God’s direct imprint, a reflection of His love and intention.

Throughout history and scripture, this divine act of granting a soul has been regarded as a sacred moment, distinguishing human life from all other creations. The soul is where we carry our faith, find discernment between right from wrong, and where wisdom takes root, shaping the child’s life-long journey from birth, to death, and into eternity.

The Mother and Father: Vessels of Human Essence

While God gifts the soul with His essence, the parents contribute from their own essence, the mother through the egg and the father through the sperm. These biological components carry generations of ancestry, binding the child to their family and heritage. Through this process, the parents are not just passive participants but co-creators of human life, passing down traits, strength, and unique individuality.

The mother nurtures the developing child, offering her body as a sanctuary for growth. Her love and protection begin long before birth, shaping the mental and physical well-being of the unborn life. The father’s role is equally profound, ensuring stability, guidance, and a legacy of protection as the child enters the world. Together, their unity mirrors the divine intention behind life, unconditional love, a willingness to sacrifice for another, and continuation of humanity.

Amplifying Life Only Happens Through Love

Yes, life can be created without unified love being present, but when parents are in love with God, each other, and their child, the gift of unified perfection transcends mere existence, it becomes a purposeful, cherished, and sanctified journey. This is the main reason, that throughout history, societies have tried to promote abstinence until marriage.

Experts know that love is not just an emotion; it is the foundation upon which a child’s world is built. When parents truly cherish one another, their unity fosters security, stability, and joy. Their marriage becomes a model of love, sacrifice, and commitment, lessons their child will carry throughout their own relationships.

A child observes love in action through their parents’ interactions, how they support each other, how they resolve conflicts with grace, and how they prioritize family above all else. When parents unify, loving one another and God deeply, they create a nurturing environment where the child feels safe, seen, and cherished. This type of unconditional love reinforces their self-worth, teaching them that they are valuable simply because they exist. Moreover, parents who are aligned in love create a home filled with peace.

This sacred partnership ensures that life is not just given but nurtured. Parents who embrace this understanding instill wisdom, faith, and love into their child’s heart, guiding them toward a life of meaning and fulfillment. In honoring this holy collaboration, the child comes to realize they are not just someone, they are someone deeply loved, purposefully created, and eternally valued.

A name, a family, a destiny, all rooted in God’s eternal gift, strengthened by parental love, and carried forward as a legacy of divine creation.

If this is my last post, I want all to know there was only one purpose for all that I have written; to have made a positive difference in the lives of others.
