A Masterpiece in the Works

The stage is set, and all is silent. The Master smiles, for once again a perfect story has begun, one capable of shaping hearts, minds, and souls, and altering the future of humanity. The Master has always worked this way: crafting stories through the lives of His characters and allowing their children to carry the legacy forward. Every great story requires a central figure, a main character whose journey becomes the epic tale. And who better to write that narrative than the character themselves?

The story begins at conception, when the Master forms a remarkable person and places them in the care of other extraordinary souls. In the early chapters, parents and guardians become apprentice authors, entrusted with guiding the storyline. They write with the wisdom handed down from their own Creator, while the Master watches closely, whispering guidance, shaping their thoughts, and gently steering their choices.

As the child grows into adulthood, the pen passes from the parents to the main character. The parents remain important figures, editors, mentors, and companions, but the story now belongs to the one living it. The Master continues to coach through quiet inspiration, subtle nudges, and moments of grace. Even when parents fail to introduce the Master, His presence remains woven into every experience, every opportunity, every breath.

The Master never demands credit. He delights in the unfolding of the story, even when the co‑authors, parents, children, friends, and strangers, use their freewill to introduce conflict, drama, joy, or sorrow. Freewill is the only part of the masterpiece the Master does not control. Yet His love is so deep, so patient, that He continually teaches each character how to become an award‑winning author of their own life.

Every decision we make shapes not only our story but the stories of all who cross our path. We begin perfectly created by the Master, guided by parents and guardians, and eventually entrusted with authorship of our destiny. We can revise, rewrite, and redirect our narrative countless times. But just as the Master begins the story, He alone knows how and when it should end. Only He has the wisdom to write the final lines.

Through the Power of the Wisdom of Three, the Master equips us with everything needed to create beauty:

  • the ability to bring His creations together,
  • the ability to blend them in the right proportions,
  • and the freedom of artistic license.

Whether pen, paper, and artist; seed, field, and farmer; or lyrics, music, and singer; every triad holds the potential for greatness. In business, success emerges from the right product, the right people, and the right clients. In the spiritual life, we flourish when we love, honor, and serve God, our community, and ourselves.

Of the three elements the Master creates, only one carries freewill. And that one, the human person, holds the power to turn the Master’s gifts into a masterpiece.

Will the outcome of our play, work, and prayer be worthy of the Master’s perfect plan for this perfect creation?

Will the world that we create be better or the worst because of the decisions we make in the story line of our own Masterpiece?

If this is my last post, I want all to know there was only one purpose for all that I have written; to have made a positive difference in the lives of others.
